カンボジアの学生に「日本に留学したいですか？」と聞いたら、間違いなく「YES」と答えるでしょう。
If you asked students in Cambodia, “Would you like to study in Japan?”, they would definitely answer “YES”;
カンボジアのビジネスパーソンに「日本人とビジネスをしたいですか？」と尋ねたら、彼らは間違いなく「YES」と答えます。
If you asked business people in Cambodia, “Would you like to do business with Japanese?”, they would definitely answer “YES”;
また、カンボジアの政府関係者に「日本の卒業生と一緒に働きませんか？」と聞いたら、彼らも「YES」と答えるはずです。
And, If you asked government officers in Cambodia, “Do you want to work with Japanese graduated Scholars?”, they would definitely answer “YES” too.
私の祖父の時代、フランス元留学生は「エリート」と見なされていました。
During the generation of my grandfather, those who graduated from France were considered as “elites”;
父の時代はソ連元留学生も「エリート」とされています。
during the generation of my father, those who graduated from Soviet Union were considered as “elites” too,
私の世代は元日本留学生も「エリート」でした。
during my generation, those who graduated from Japan are also considered as “elites”.
日本政府は、1992年以来、カンボジアの学生への国費奨学金の支給を再開しました.
Japanese government has resumed granting government scholarship to Cambodian students since 1992.
今年はその30周年を迎え、また、当協会も20周年を迎えます。 現在、日本に留学した奨学生は約1,500人にのぼります。
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Scholarship Program and also 20th anniversary of our association too. As of now, there are nearly 1,500 scholarship students graduated from Japan.
来年はカンボジアと日本の友好70周年でもあり、2023年1月から両国関係は「包括的戦略パートナー」に格上げされます。
And, next year also marks the 70th anniversary of the friendship between Cambodia and Japan, the bilateral relation will be upgraded to “Comprehensive Strategy Partner” starting from Jan. 2023.
私は、「JACメンバーの団結は、カンボジアと日本の歴史的な関係に大きな影響を与えることができる」と強く信じています。
I strongly believe that “the solidarity of our JAC members could give a huge impact to this historical relation between Cambodia and Japan.”
私たちの協会は、カンボジアで最も古く、最大の元留学生協会の１つであることは間違いありません。
Our association is among the oldest and the biggest scholar association in Cambodia!
私たち元日本留学生が団結すれば、産官学ともに最も強力な人財となるでしょう。
If we unite all our members together, we will be among the most powerful human capital in Cambodia in academic, public and private sectors
私たちの先輩は、JAC を設立し、次世代の私たちのための道を切りひらいてきました。国内外の関連機関との関係構築に大変な時間と努力をしてきました。
Our seniors have paved the ways for us by founding JAC; strengthening JAC relationship with related institution domestically and internationally.
今私たちの時が来ました！JACのために、カンボジアと日本の関係のために、私たちは一丸となり、団結し、協力していこうではありませんか！
Now the time has come! , Why do not we come together, keeping together, and working together for the success of JAC, for the success of the relationship of Cambodia and Japan?
