This year Toshiba Youth Club Asia (TYCA) Volume 3 was held in Tokyo for a week from 20th – 27th March 2017. TYCA is a highly unique program that aims at fostering a network of next-generation Asian leaders with a long-term vision to sustain the future of Asia. Two selected high school students and an advisor from each of 6 South East Asian countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam) and from Japan were gathering in Tokyo to appreciate diversity of Asian cultures, discuss critical social issues such as world energy and environmental protection, role of science for social innovation, and eventually work together to create the long-term vision of Asia toward 2040.
